WHO CERTIFIES OUR PRODUCTS

Cosmos Organic – Cosmos Natural

A rigorous International Standard for Natural and Organic Cosmetics, developed by the four main European certification bodies, BDIH (Germany), Ecocert (France), ICEA (Italy), Soil Association (UK) and Cosmebio Association (France). The Standard certifies cutting-edge natural and organic cosmetics through the control of the entire product chain, from raw materials to the formulation and marketing of the finished product.

 

NATRUE

A non-profit organization made up of producers from various European countries that has devised a standard on organic cosmetics, which is known to be more serious and rigorous, in the absence of a public European regulation.

NATRUE distinguishes three levels of certification:
– Organic Cosmetics, with a minimum of 95% of Organic ingredients
– Natural Cosmetics with Organic components, with a minimum o 70%
of Organic ingredients
– Natural Cosmetics

ICEA

The cosmetic products certified by ICEA (Institute for Ethical and Environmental Certification) as Organic and Eco-friendly products made with natural and safe raw materials, which do not damage health but try to be as less invasive as possible on the surrounding environment in any possible way. ICEA is a synonym of quality and reliability at an international level for companies and consumers that choose Organic.

AIAB

Eco Organic cosmetics certification (Italian Association for Organic Farming) guarantees the absence of GMO, applies notable restrictions for the use of chemical substances and requires environmental friendliness of packaging. The AIAB Eco-friendly Organic Cosmetic aims at guaranteeing the absence of debatable materials from the eco-friendly point of view (both in the product as well as in the packaging), the absence of non-herbal raw materials considered to be “at risk” (GMO, allergenic, irritating) or deemed to be harmful for human health; the reduction of the environmental impact due to unnecessary or non-recyclable packaging (single packs). Moreover, they promote packaging from renewable raw materials, recyclable materials or packaging connected to a system of the return of empties. by respecting a negative list of forbidden substances.

ECOBIO CONTROL

Ecobiocontrol is the set of guidelines drafted by Fabrizio Zago, who created the Biodictionary, a database of over 20,000 substances that contain ingredients that are prohibited for use in cosmetics, allergenic substances and endocrine disruptors. The purpose of Ecobiocontrol is to “promote raw materials of plant origin from renewable sources and, where appropriate, components from organic farming”. The areas of application of the Ecobiocontrol guidelines are the cosmetics and cleaning products sectors.

VEGAN

The Vegan Society is the English Organization set up by Donald Watson in 1944, and he was the originator of the Vegan term, to indicate the philosophy based on the refusal of any form of animal exploitation (for food, clothing, performances as well as any other purpose). The mark of the Vegan Society enables the consumers all over the world, Vegans or not, to recognise that a product respects the requirements of the prestigious English organization.by increasing the given trust.

ALLERGY CERTIFIED

AllergyCertfied is the international allergy label. It has been founded because there was a need for exactly that; an international label that consumers all over the world can look for when they want to prevent getting skin allergy.

FSC

The FSC Mark identifies the products containing wood coming from forests managed correctly and responsibly according to rigorous environmental, social and economic standards. The forest of origin has been checked and assessed independently in compliance with standards (principles and criteria of good forest stewardship), established and approved by the Forest Stewardship Council through the participation and consensus of the parties involved.
